Cancellation Policy…
CANCELLING YOUR CONFIRMED RESERVATION
CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit and cancellation policies are generally less forgiving on Haida Gwaii than those of hotels or B&B’s in urban areas, with most bookings being made well in advance of travel—especially in high season. A last-minute cancellation may mean a significant loss to our somewhat vulnerable, remote island business as the possibility of rebooking the accommodation diminishes increasingly as the date approaches.
DEPOSIT: A 25% (before tax) non-refundable deposit is required at time of confirmation. This will be charged to the provided credit card.
CANCELLATION: Greater than 30 days notice of a cancellation will result in no further charge (beyond the 25% non-refundable deposit) to the card provided at the time of booking.
Cancellations received 30 days or less than the check in date will result in the full reservation cost being charged to the card provided at the time of booking.
RESERVATION PAYMENT: The remaining balance (minus deposit) for all reservations will be processed 30 days before the check-in date to the card provided at the time of booking.
**If you do not wish for the full balance to be processed on the card used for the booking, please provide the accompanying card/payment details prior to the 30 day cut-off. **
EARLY CHECKOUT: The nights you have reserved are guaranteed exclusively for you. There are no refunds for early check-outs.
NO-SHOW OR SAME DAY CANCELLATION: Full amount for your reservation will apply.
IMPORTANT: We highly recommend that you contact your travel agent or credit card company regarding trip cancellation insurance to cover refund of accommodation costs in case of unforeseen changes (weather, medical, etc.) to your plans.
